Instructions for pudding: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9 inch X 9 inch baking pan with 1 tablespoon of butter.
Place cubed bread and half of the raisins in the pan. Sprinkle remaining raisins on top.
Combine water, eggs, condensed milk, 2 tablespoons melted butter, vanilla, cinnamon and salt in a mixing bowl. Pour mixture over bread. Bake 40-50 minutes or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Meanwhile prepare vanilla caramel sauce. Whisk together cream and cornstarch till smooth. add cream mixture to a saucepan on medium heat and add sugars. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Allow bread pudding to completely cool to room temperature.
Serve with vanilla caramel sauce and enjoy!
